Countdown until SAREX '08

A weekend long conference coming to Southern Illinois, May 16, 17, 18
and brought to you by Little Egypt Search and Rescue.

Courses and events offered will be K9 Field work, K9 Behavior, K9 First Aid, Scent Theory, Ropes and Knots, Rappelling, Navigation, Survival Skills, Instruction on Preparing for the NASAR K9 SARTECH Exams, Free AKC Canine Good Citizen test, Critical Incident Stress Management, Courtroom Testimony, Confined Space Rescue, Guest Speakers, and more!

Our goal is to bring quality training to all search personnel (handlers and non-handlers) so everyone will have an option as to what class and training they would like to attend.

We will be holding a drawing on Sunday for donated items. All conference attendees are requested (but not required) to please bring an item to be given away during the drawing.

Eric Redinger - Assistant Director, Outdoor Adventure, Southeast Missouri State University.
Jeffrey Decker - A volunteer trainer for the GSI Group, IL Fire Service Institute (IFSI), Safety and Technical Rescue Association (SATRA), Dept of Homeland Security, and works with several SAR organizations.
